23rd Anniversary of the Killing of People of Sarajevo marked

018Anniversary of the killing of people of Sarajevo was marked today with the laying of flowers, a prayer and a minute of silence in the Hamdije Kreševljakovića Street number 47, Municipality of Centar. On this occasion, the city councilor Suvad Kerla paid tribute and laid flowers on the site of killing.

At this location, on November 29 in 1993 seven citizens of Sarajevo were killed and four wounded by a bomb fired from aggressor’s position on Hladivode.

Citizens who were killed that day are Staka Aksentić, Zekerijah Dacić, Ibro and Sead Plakalo, Igbal Redžić, Dženan Smajić and Elvedin Zimić.

Marking of the anniversary was attended by families and friends of the victims and representatives of the Sarajevo Canton, the Centar Municipality, Union of Civil Victims of War of the Sarajevo Canton, and the AntiDayton Movement.
