(FOTO FENA/ALMIR RAZIC)In the hall “Mirza Delibašić” of Skenderija Center, last night’s program officially opened the XXVI International Sarajevo Book fair, which is being held this year under the motto ‘World-Book-Universe’.

Organizers of the fair said that this year the central place of the promotion will again be the Bosnian House, where they expected more than 100 promotions of local and foreign authors and publishers.

This year at the fair around 250 exhibitors at 95 stands will take part, and when it comes to B&H publishers, organizers of the fair made it possible to reduce the leased space for local publishers by 30 percent.

Organizers of the international book fair are TDK Šahinpašić, Association of Publishers and Booksellers B&H and Center Skenderija.

Entrance for all visitors at the fair this year is free. Visitors will have the chance to familiarize themselves with the latest, but also to seek some older editions of books, at stands with more than 100 publishers from B&H, countries in the region and the entire world.

The fair is open until 28 April.
