una regataOn Tuesday night, the 42nd   International Tourist Una regatta officially started. The Regatta was organized by the National Park (NP) Una which will organize all next races as well.

Natalija Božičević, the director of NP Plitvička jezera from Croatia, opened the Una Regatta. She emphasized that the organization of manifestation was good and highlighted the importance of maintenance of a young park as Una National Park.

The first stage started from Martin Brod this morning in direction to Štrbački buk which will be reached tonight around 18:00 o’clock. Several hundred participants from BiH and the region in the next three days will arrive in Bosanska Krupa.

Rainy weather affected the attendance at the opening, but also participation on the event. Organizers are still optimistic, because they confirmed the participation of more than 400 participants. It is expected that this number will increase in the coming days.

First Una regatta was held 50 years ago.
