A story of Anel Bektas, Bosnian who currently lives in Denmark, shows that the investment of diaspora can bring good results in our country, new employments and development in BiH.

“I decided to bring together a team in BiH and we started a company back in 2016, in cooperation with the company Freund Elektronik from Denmark, for which I am working since 2015. We are working on development and distribution of our own programs – intercom systems, home automation, audio systems, servers and systems for access control,” stated Bektas.

He stated that they made a decision to make a step forward in BiH “in accordance with their long-term plans, based on positive experiences in cooperation with certain technology companies in BiH and with the aim to maintain positive trend in the development of our own technologies.”

He noted that the company will continue with the development of systems for home automation and achieving further growth through innovations and market offer. New employments will follow as well.

“We achieved cooperation with USAID Diaspora Invest through grant program and technical support, and that represents one of the advantages of the market of BiH that includes great opportunities for making connections, investments and development activities. Our team worked very hard and I believe that we are doing a good job here in BiH. That is my message to others who are contemplating about investing and starting something new in their homeland,” stated Bektas.
