A Cat ran away from Home in Scotland, found in a City nearly 500 Kilometers away

A cat named Beans, who escaped from his home in the Scottish town of Cumbernauld, was found in the English city of Coventry, almost 500 kilometers away.

Beans went missing in late October, and his owners, Cara, and Colin McBurnie, searched for him for days.

When they couldn’t find him, they assumed he had passed away. However, a few weeks later, they received a call from volunteers at Cats Protection charity, informing them that Beans had been located in Coventry.

Cara McBurnie said she never imagined her cat could end up in England and found it incomprehensible that Beans had wandered so far.

Beans was discovered by a Coventry resident who noticed him sleeping in one of the cat shelters near her home. Thanks to his microchip, volunteers were able to identify his owners and contact them. They took the first flight to retrieve their beloved pet.
