A fourteen-year-old girl disappeared in Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, for whom a large-scale search was launched yesterday afternoon.

According to Esmir Šljiva from GSS Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje, the girl disappeared yesterday around 3 pm, returning from school.

“It’s about a fourteen-year-old girl. She left school yesterday, headed from the direction of Pajić Polje towards the settlement of Bistrica. She was allegedly seen by the locals of Bistrica going in the direction of the Gornji Vakuf/Uskoplje-Novi Travnik regional road. She did not contact anyone and here is the second day we are all on the field looking for her,” said Šljivo.

He added that they combed the area last night but did not find her, adding that locals, the Mountain Rescue Service, the police and hunters are looking for the girl.

“We searched until three o’clock last night and here we are gathering again,” added Šljivo.
