A large fire broke out today on the hill above Dubrovnik, and two planes are involved in extinguishing it.
It burns maquis and low vegetation, and it is somewhat easier for the firefighters to put out because it is surrounded by roads that they can access.
The fire broke out shortly before 3 p.m. on the Adriatic highway above Dubrovnik, Croatian media reports.
Traffic is suspended on that part of the highway.
