13090361_1167371773313777_1004922588_nAfter finishing the High School for Economy in Zenica, 24-year-old Mirnes Šarić saw a way out of the difficult economic situation on tourist cruisers.

Apart from sailing the seas and oceans around the world, cruisers are also sources of good income. In order to become independent and try to make his own money, in May 2014 the young Šarić lifted the anchor and sailed into an adventure called working on a cruiser, not even imagining that his love life will be changed as well.

“I primarily decided to work on a cruiser because of the money. Apart from that, I was attracted by the opportunity to see all the beautiful places in the world, for which I would never have enough money to visit myself, as a tourist,” Šarić said.

From his previous experience, Šarić does not find working on a cruiser too tiresome in physical sense, especially for those who have been dealing with some sports activities or who have been working out in a gym recreationally.

Although there are certain speculations about the income, Mirnes claims that the lowest salary amounts to around 1.500 BAM, while there are also positions where you can earn up to 20.000 BAM.

Apart from excellent income, Mirnes will remember the November 29, 2014 very well. The cruise ship he was working on then was in Puerto Rico.

“On that day, Valeria Joselyne Miranda Garcia from Mexico came on board. When I saw her, it was literally love on the first sight. Since the emotions were mutual, we were afraid that we will not return to the same ship. However, we were lucky in every sense. We remained on the same ship and started a relationship,” Mirnes said, adding that the employees are very forthcoming when it comes to couples in love. They enable couples to work on a same ship so that they could be together.

After his contract expired, Mirnes came to his hometown Zenica on a vacation, together with his girlfriend.

“We are together for a year and a half now. The mutual endless love is a result of her consent to come to Zenica so that we could spend the vacation together. I must admit I was very happy with her decision, and we agreed to spend the next vacation in Mexico, where she comes from,” Šarić said.

“I am fascinated with Zenica because it is surrounded with greenery, and I am a person who loves nature. The nature is not like this in Mexico, houses are stacked, so I am enjoying to the maximum here,” said Valeria Joselyne Miranda Garcia, adding some very nice comments on Bosnian food.

Mirnes and Valeria got engaged two days ago when he proposed to her in Venice. They are thinking of living together in Canada.
