Adriatic Group expects Revenue of almost 100 million EUR

amir-bekric-Adriatic Group recorded a significant increase in revenue in the year of 2016, which at the level of the group amounted to 72 million EUR.

“Besides the usual organic growth in all markets, we also recorded growth as the result of taking over product distribution of Podravka and Atlantic Group in the majority of the Western European market. Our EU companies increased by 30-50 % in average, while revenue growth in BiH doubled, despite the problems with the placement of products from the primary sector in the past year, said Amir Bekic, director of the Adriatic Group.

“EU markets are more profitable to us, and we are increasingly investing in the development of our business in Germany, which, for us, is the biggest and most demanding EU market. Since the core business of our group is the distribution of food from our region to the EU market, we managed to sign agreements with major regional companies in 2016, said Bekic.

When it comes to BiH, Adriatic Group has two companies that are engaged in the organization of primary agricultural production, and two factories for the procession of fruit and vegetables.

“Our two factories in Bijeljina and Zvornik recorded growth of over 50 % and our brand Natura, besides exports to 15 countries of EU, is becoming the most important brand in its category in BiH. In the following years, we will be developing Natura both in BiH and the markets of regional countries,” said Bekic.

When it comes to plans for this year, he expects the trend of revenue increase to continue, and to get closer to the total turnover of 100 million EUR.
