A meeting was held in Zagreb on June 15th between the General Director of the Federation of BiH Railways Enis Dzafic and the President of the Management Board of “HZputnički prevoz” Zeljko Ukic, at which an agreement was reached on the introduction of a seasonal train on the Sarajevo-Ploce route.

It has been agreed that the train will run on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays from July 1 until September 11. The FBiH Railways says that the public will be informed in a timely manner about the exact timetable and prices.

“We have reached an agreement with the Croatian Railways and again, after eight and a half years, we are introducing the line Sarajevo – Ploce – Sarajevo. The FBiH railways are the backbone of the BiH economy line in domestic and international passenger traffic. Earlier, by introducing combined transport, we managed to enable the departure to the Adriatic Sea in the summer season “, said Dzafic.

He adds that from now on, passengers will be able to enjoy modern and comfortable Talgo trains.

At the same time, he thanked his colleagues from the Croatian Railways because with this agreement they certainly caused the joy of many passengers, both from BiH and Croatia, and from all over the world.

The FBiH Railways emphasize that they also offer passengers a number of benefits – a 30 percent discount when traveling in a group of at least six adult passengers.
Students, pensioners, people over the age of 60, journalists and war invalids enjoy the same privilege.
Children aged four to 12, blind people and their companions, as well as groups of more than 30 passengers have a 50 percent privilege. While children up to four years of age are entitled to a free ride, Klix.bawrites.
