Culinary magazine Taste Atlas reminded that there are four types of Bosnian cevapi. Which are the best?

Cevapi is a traditional Bosnian dish made of minced meat that is loved by absolutely all generations. There are many recipes for this dish, but the old Sarajevo kebab shops will not give the original recipe to anyone.

That is why there are several variations of Sarajevo cevapi. The most popular are those made from beef mincemeat and served in a flatbread (somun) with salted onions or kaymak with yogurt or sour milk.

Banja Luka cevapi are made from beef and mutton and placed in a bun (lepina). They are eaten with garlic or pepperoni and salt, pepper, and yogurt or sour milk.

Tuzla cevapi are prepared from beef, lamb, and mutton. They are also served in a bun with onion, salt, and pepper.

Many people prefer Travnik cevapi and claim that they are the best. They are made from beef, mutton, lamb and veal. They are placed into the pitica, and then they are topped with chopped onions, salt, and yogurt or sour milk, according to Taste Atlas.

Cevapi can also be served with rice, fries, salad, ajvar, but this is mostly common abroad, Klix.ba reports.
