Ambassador of Romania Visited SIPA

sipaThe Ambassador of Romania to B&H Filip Teodorescu visited the State Agency for Investigation and Protection (SIPA) and held a meeting with the Director of SIPA Goran Zubac.

The reason for the visit was to hand over an invitation to Director Zubac for participation at the regional conference called ‘Promotion of best practices in the fight against corruption at a high level and return of property’, which in the next period will be held in Bucharest, as well as regarding the current security situation in B&H with an emphasis on the fight against corruption.

Director of SIPA presented all the relevant details regarding the role of SIPA in the B&H security system, outlining the fact that, in accordance with the strategy of SIPA, the fight against corruption and financial crimes are one of the main priorities of this Agency.

Also, he briefly presented the results of the recent operational actions of SIPA regarding the fight against this type of criminal activity.
