On the proposal of the Ministry of Civil Affairs, the Council of Ministers of B&H issued a decision on awarding the State Sports Award for 2015 to the state record holder in 800 meters Amel Tuka.
State Sports Award in the amount of 15,000.00 BAM was assigned to athlete Tuka for winning a bronze medal at the World Championships in Beijing at 800 meters, gold medal at the Balkan Indoor Championships in Istanbul in 2015 and winning the third place at the final meeting of IAAF Diamond League in Brussels.
On the EA classic meeting in Velenje last year, Tuka fulfilled the norm for the World Championships in Beijing 2015 and Olympic Games in Rio in 2016.
