Amel Tuka was named Best Athlete of the Balkans last night.
For the ninth time, the Balkan Athletics Federation organized the manifestation for the best athletes, and Amel Tuka was named the best athlete in Vrnjacka Banja.
To recall, Tuka achieved his greatest career success this year by winning the silver medal in 800m at the World Athletics Championships in Doha.
The best athlete of the Balkans is Ivet Lalova from Bulgaria, while the awards for the best young athletes were given to Ukrainian Yaroslava Mahuchih and Bulgarian Valentin Andreev, Klix.ba portal reports.
