The Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences revealed the list of foreign films that will compete for the prestigious Oscar. Nine films will compete to be chosen among the ones nominated for the Oscar on 16 January, and among them is the film by director from B&H Danis Tanović for ‘An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker’.
The list includes both well-known and almost anonymous titles.
In October, there were 76 films, and now the list has been shortened to nine. The five that will be nominated and which will compete for the Oscar will be known on 16 January, and the ceremony is scheduled for 2 March at Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.
The list of films that have a chance of being nominated for an Oscar:
