In the first week of April, the Turkish airline AnadoluJet plans to establish a route on the route Sarajevo – Istanbul. Flights will be held three times a week, on Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays. Passengers will be transported by a Boeing 737-800 with a capacity of 189 seats, writes eKapija.

Thus, AnadoluJet will compete with Pegasus Airlines and its nine flights between Istanbul and Sarajevo. During the summer season, Sarajevo and Istanbul will be connected by a record 33 weekly flights (Turkish Airlines 21, Pegasus Airlines 9 and AnadoluJet 3). The owner of AnadoluJet is Turkish Airlines.

Saudi low-cost airline Flynas plans to reintroduce the Sarajevo-Jeddah line, which was canceled last year due to a coronavirus pandemic. According to current information, the line should be operational from May 17, and flights will be four times a week, ie on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Passengers will be transported by Airbus A320. The connection between Sarajevo and Jeddah will be maintained until September 5.

A total of 64 flights in both directions are planned. Tickets can be purchased through the company’s website. Flynas is one of the largest airlines in Saudi Arabia and flies to numerous destinations in Europe, Africa and Asia.
