Analysis: Foreign Exchange Reserves of the Central Bank of BiH

Foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina at the end of November last year amounted to 18.28 billion BAM and are the same as the previous month.

On an annual level, foreign exchange reserves increased by 1.08 billion BAM or 6.3 percent, announced the Central Bank of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Total loans to domestic sectors at the end of November last year amounted to 28.3 billion BAM, and compared to the previous month, an increase in loans by 284.5 million BAM was recorded.

Credit growth was registered with the population for 101.5 million BAM or 0.7 percent, with private companies for 167 million BAM or 1.5 percent, government institutions for 20 million BAM or 1.5 percent, and other domestic sectors for 2.3 million BAM or 0.6 percent.

A decrease in credit growth on a monthly basis was recorded in non-financial public enterprises by 6.3 million BAM or 0.8 percent.

The annual growth rate of total loans in November was 10.7 percent, nominally 2.73 billion BAM.

Annual credit growth was registered in the household sector by 1.51 billion BAM or 11.8 percent, private companies by 871 million BAM or 8.2 percent, government institutions by 90.3 million BAM or seven percent, non-financial public companies by 161.6 million BAM or 28.1 percent, and other domestic sectors by 95 million BAM or 32.2 percent.
