A total of 25,000 new doses of the second component of the "Sputnik V" vaccine for immunization of the population against coronavirus living in Republika Srpska, for the procurement of which funds were provided by the RS Government, will arrive today.
This is another delivery of vaccines from a Russian manufacturer within the realization of the contract that the Institute of Public Health has with the wholesale company "Krajina Group", the RS Ministry of Health and Social Welfare announced.

So far, including this delivery, a total of 249,300 doses of the first and second components of this type of vaccine have arrived in Republika Srpska.

The new quantities of vaccines were delivered to the importer's warehouse in Banja Luka, and after the completion of the procedures, they will be sent to health institutions throughout the RS for the process of vaccination against coronavirus.

The Ministry reminds that, according to the instructions of the manufacturer of this vaccine, revaccination with the second component of the vaccine can be done in the period from 21 to 90 days after vaccination with the first component.

The statement points out that health institutions have sufficient quantities of vaccines from several manufacturers.

The Ministry of Health and Social Welfare of the Republika Srpska and the RS Institute of Public Health once again call on the citizens to be vaccinated against the coronavirus as soon as possible, if they have not already done so, in order to immunize the population.
