Application “Halal Bazaar” finally available in BiH

halal-bazarThe Agency for Halal Quality Certification in BiH developed a mobile app during 2016, which is available on Google Play and represents a valuable guide for buyers of halal products and halal service users.

The Agency for Halal Quality Certification in BiH so far certified a total of 70 BH companies, of which 62 food producers and 8 hotels and restaurants, as well as a total of 4,458 products.

Besides in BiH, the Agency also certified 19 companies in Serbia and one in Montenegro and Lithuania, which concludes the total number of certified products to 6,347.

“The agency developed an application for mobile devices “Halal bazar” in 2016, which allows customers and users to have all the information about all halal certified products and services in one place, to start in BiH and the region, and in the coming period will be extended to the country of Europe and the world,” said Amir Sakic, the Director of the Agency for Halal Quality Certification.

Within the application, halal products and producers are classified in the following areas: food additives, pharmaceutical products, eggs and egg products, cakes, cosmetics and personal hygiene products, meat and meat products, milk and milk products, pack products, sugar, ice cream, snack products, salt and spices, animal feed, oils and fats, fruits and vegetables and their products, water, cereals and cereal products, as well as hotels and restaurants.

From the Agency stated that producers confirm with certification that they meet the requirements and expectations of customers and customers return them with their loyalty and purchase of their products. They stated that the halal market is one of the fastest growing in the world and that BH halal market is the most important in the region of Southeast Europe.

Today, BH halal products are present in markets around the world, starting from America, Canada, EU countries, Middle East, North Africa…
