Young Armina Jahic from Tuzla represented BiH in Sydney. Jahic had the opportunity in a few days, which she spent with participants from 21 countries of the world, to visit Sydney, the Australian Parliament, to discuss with the Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull and perform at the Opera House.

On the concert that was held last night, Jahic presented herself to the Australian audience with traditional song “Zvijezda tjera mjeseca”.

Before the Festival, Australian Prime Minister Malcolm Turnbull said that Australia is a country of specific harmony and a place where people from almost 200 countries found their home.

“Because Australia cannot be identified by one race, religion or origin but by sharing the political values such rich connection of different cultures, languages and understanding should be maintained and celebrated,” as stated in the message by the Prime Minister of Australia before the International Festival of Culture and Language.
