Armored vehicles of the reserve forces of EUFOR, ten of them, have been spotted in the area of Pale and East Sarajevo since this morning in order to implement the planned exercise with the Armed Forces of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Armored vehicles were located in the parking lot of the “Tom” shopping center, near the “Vlajko Petrović” stadium and in the narrow center of Pale.

Deputy Minister of Defense in the Council of Ministers, Aleksandar Goganović, previously told Srna news agency that the arrival of EUFOR reserve forces was a planned activity, and that it was about sending a part of the French battalion.

EUFOR strategic reserve troops and their equipment arrived in Bosnia and Herzegovina on Thursday, April 11, and will conduct patrols throughout Bosnia and Herzegovina, EUFOR announced.

EUFOR commander Laszlo Sticz said earlier that 250 soldiers of the strategic reserve forces from France, Italy and Romania will come to Bosnia and Herzegovina as part of the exercise “Meleger” and stay for a month.
