Five members of the “Panter” Association, suspected of having committed several criminal offenses through joint action, including violent behavior, unauthorized filming and blackmail, have been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office.

In addition to Ismet Porobić, Aldin Čančar, Jasmin Hadžić, Alem Hadžić and Semir Sultanović, Lajla Sultanović, who is suspected of having acted together with other members of the Association, has also been handed over to the jurisdiction of the Prosecutor’s Office.

The arrested will be held for 24 hours and within that legal period, prosecutors will decide on a possible proposal for detention, the Sarajevo Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office announced.

The statement added that Ahmed Džinović will also be questioned during the day at the Bihać Correctional Facility and a prosecutorial decision will be made for him within the next 24 hours.

In the Sarajevo, Herzegovina-Neretva and Una-Sana Cantons, as part of the operation codenamed “Cage”, five members of the “Panter” Association were arrested yesterday on suspicion of violent behavior, unauthorized filming, blackmail, endangering security and violating the inviolability of the home.

Drugs and weapons were found on one of the arrested during the search.

The operation was carried out on the order and under the supervision of the Sarajevo Canton Prosecutor’s Office and with the assistance of the Intelligence and Security Agency of BiH.

Investigators and the Special Unit of the Police Administration of the Sarajevo Canton MUP participated in the operation “Cage”, in cooperation with the Federal Police Administration /FUP/, the Investigation and Protection Agency of BiH and the Ministries of Internal Affairs of the Herzegovina-Neretva and Una-Sana Cantons.
