Sports news portal SportSport.ba has organised an event to select the best football player of BiH in the season of 2012/2013, and the best of the best was given the title ‘The Idol of the Nation’, reports sportsport.ba
This year’s idol is goalkeeper of BiH national football team and of English club ‘Stoke City’ Asmir Begović who was selected by the expert jury of sport journalists.
The best football player of BiH Premier League is the football player of Čelik, Saša Kajkut, while the best coach of BiH is Safet Sušić, and the best coach of BIH Premier League is Amar Osim.
The best foreign player of BiH Premier League is Miloš Vidović, the most organised club ‘Široki Brijeg’.
Apart from receiving the award from the expert jury, Begović received the award of the audience who had 4272 votes, while Miralem Pjanić ahd 1971 votes.
On that occasion, Begović said that it is a great honour for him to receive the award and thanked everyone.
