Assembly Session of Sarajevo Canton to Present Today Requests of Plenum of Citizens

zahtjevi_plenumAssembly Session of Sarajevo Canton started today at the premises of the City Administration of Sarajevo.

Assembly Session of Canton Sarajevo in accordance with the conclusions of Assembly, at yesterday’s meeting which lasted the entire day considered the requests of the Plenum of citizens and made certain conclusions and responses to the requests, which will be presented today.

According to yesterday’s statement of the Head of Assembly of Sarajevo Canton Mirjana Malić, conclusions of the session will be presented to the representatives of the Plenum, and then will be forwarded to the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton for clarification on the first regular session on Monday, 24 February.

Plenum of citizens of Sarajevo has submitted four requests to the Assembly of Sarajevo Canton, and one of them is the urgent formation of an expert non partisan government of Sarajevo Canton.

Revision on salaries and benefits of public officials in Canton Sarajevo and their adjustment with the economic situation is another request, as well as the revision of privatization of companies in Canton Sarajevo.

Also, one of the requests is the establishment of an independent expert commission for confirmation of facts about the events of 7 February.
