In the first six months of this year, it is marked a number of 303 829 passengers, which is 15 percent more than in the same period last year. The number of aero operations is 2603, which is two percent more than the same period last year.
Positive business situation has continued even in the second half of the year, thus in August have been operating 546 airplanes, which is 6 percent more than in the same period last year. Sarajevo airport marked a steady increase of numbers of passengers and in the past month is recorded a number of 79.796 passengers, which is 31 percent more compared to the same period last year.
The financial report for the first half of the current year has marked an increased in almost all profit sectors: passenger service, handling of aircraft, trade, cargo and complementary services.
Total income of Sarajevo International Airport for the period from 01 January until 30 June 2013 has increased by 10 percent in amount of 16.990.730.33 KM, while in the same period last year had an amount of 15.404.205.45 KM
The Company in the first half of the current year reported profit in the amount of 1.567.018,98 KM, while in the same period last year operated at a loss in the amount of 2.593.759,31 KM.
Judging by the results of the financial reports for the first half of the current year, in front of us is another successful year.
