The Chairperson of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina Željka Cvijanović spoke today in Sarajevo with the Ambassador of the Republic of Austria to Bosnia and Herzegovina Ulrike Hartmann about current political and economic issues in Bosnia and Herzegovina and the region, the process of European integration, and the possibilities of further improving relations with Austria.
It was jointly assessed that the Republic of Austria is among the largest foreign trade partners of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and that there is mutual interest and great potential for further strengthening of economic cooperation.
Cvijanović thanked Hartmann for the support for granting BiH candidate status, stressing that the European path requires commitment and coordination of all levels of government, with full respect for their constitutional competences, the BiH Presidency announced.
