Awards Given to Winners of Competition “Trenuci sreće mladosti treće”

treca_dobThe handing out of awards to winners of the competition “Trenuci sreće mladosti treće” will take place today on the premises of the Red Cross FB&H in Sarajevo.

The competition of the Red Cross Society B&H for the best photograph on the topic “Trenuci sreće mladosti treće” was launched in the framework of active aging, and ended on 23 January 2014.

The photograph awarded in accordance with the rules of the competition is ‘best friends’ by Emina Mešić.

Red Cross B&H decided to give special recognition to the author of the photograph ‘Socializing-Grandfather and Grandson Putting Together a Puzzle’ Maja Jugo.

The awards will be given out by Dušan Kulušić, General Secretary of DCK BiH. Michele Rezza Sanchez, Representative of the International Federation of Red Cross and the Red Crescent in B&H will also be present.

The competition was launched in order to draw attention to the public on the importance of the role of the elderly in society and our responsibility to create a situation in which every elderly person has a good quality of life and opportunities to realize their potential.
