Bajevic: It is important for us to hear Players’ Thoughts

After the Executive Board of the Football Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, on 21.12.2019, appointed Dušan Bajević as head coach of the BH “A” national team, in addition to the official presentation of the head coach and technical staff, several specific activities were carried out in the past period in order to prepare as high as possible prior to the play-off matches.

“I am pleased with the way my associates perform their tasks”, said head coach Duško Bajević and continued, “We aim to talk to certain players before the preparations, and it is known that we visited Džeko, Pjanić, returned Lulić, met with Višća. It is important for us to hear the players’ thoughts, to get to know each other, because there will not be enough time for this when we have already gathered. We follow not only those who have been a part of the national team so far, but also those who could possibly join.”

Bajević added in the end that each of his associates had specific responsibilities and that the activities of our opponents in the play-off for qualification for the 2020 EURO were taken into consideration. The head coach announced his arrival at the “House of Football” in mid-February, when he would summarize with his associates the first part of the work done.

By March, a number of analyses need to be done, including not only opponents, but also the games of our national team players in past qualifications.
