Becirovic: We will strengthen economic Cooperation between BiH and Kuwait

The member of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Denis Bećirović, spoke with the Ambassador of the State of Kuwait to Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zaher Alkhurainej. The interlocutors emphasized that Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Kuwait have very good and friendly relations, and expressed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation.

Bećirović expressed gratitude for Kuwait’s principled respect for the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Ambassador Alkhurainej said that the State of Kuwait is moving strongly with the steps of progress, progress, and prosperity, and that along the way it is trying to strengthen relations with all friendly countries, including Bosnia and Herzegovina.

During the conversation, it was pointed out that the interest of both Bosnia and Herzegovina and the State of Kuwait is for the further development of cooperation in all areas, as well as that there is a possibility for cooperation to be significantly improved in the fields of economy, defense, education, culture and tourism.

The member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović, pointed out the numerous advantages of investing in BiH, such as the geostrategic position, natural resources and professional workforce. It was pointed out that there can be very promising investments in Bosnia and Herzegovina’s transport system and infrastructure, especially the Vc corridor, energy facilities, metal industry, food and special purpose industries.

It was established that in the post-war years, the State of Kuwait was among the first to start investment activities in our country and in that way stimulated other investors to invest in Bosnia and Herzegovina. It was estimated that an increasing number of Kuwaiti investors and tourists come to BiH every year.

During the meeting, they also discussed the possibility of liberalizing the visa regime for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina – it was announced from the Cabinet of the member of the BiH Presidency, Denis Bećirović.
