In the first half of this year, B&H is to host the Business-Economic Forum B&H-China, with the focus on infrastructure, tourism and production capacities; it was highlighted yesterday during political consultations between ministries of foreign affairs of B&H and China in Sarajevo.
Delegations on political consultations were led by the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of B&H Josip Brkić and the Assistant to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of China Liu Haiksing, who is also the Secretary General for cooperation between China and 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe.
During the conversation, issues related to bilateral cooperation were considered, with emphasis on participation of B&H in the Platform of cooperation of 16 countries of Central and Eastern Europe with China, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of B&H stated.
Opinions and information about cooperation of the two countries in multilateral organizations were exchanged at the meeting, as well as opinions about global political currents. Furthermore, participants expressed satisfaction with the upward trajectory of political relations, as well as with good dynamics of visits on high levels.
It was highlighted that, in political sense, the two countries have a high degree of understanding, appreciation and trust and China is thankful to B&H for support to the principle and policy of one China.
Deputy Minister Brkić highlighted that maintaining and improving relations with China across all levels is very important for B&H.
