Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations of BiH, Mirko Sarovic, held a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister of Libya Ahmed Mitig on the margins of the 9th Sarajevo Business Forum (SBF).

They discussed the return of BH companies to market of Libya and the continuation of projects signed between the two countries in the sectors of energy, healthcare etc.

They agreed to activate the agreements and initiate joint commissions by signing a Memorandum of Understanding.

BiH is especially interesting to Libya as an example of a country that managed to get out of the war and successfully develop its economy in numerous fields, as reported by the media in that country.

To recall, Libya has been one of the largest construction sites in the world in the recent period of time, and Sarajevo Busines Forum 2018 was announced as an opportunity for companies from BiH to get the engagement on some of the most important infrastructure projects through direct contacts with investors from that country.
