In the center of Bevo Mill, known as ‘Little Bosnia’, something unbelievable is taking place. The B&H Chamber and ‘Unique B&H Community’ are building a replica of the Sebilj in the center of the city on occasion of the 250 of St. Louis. The Sebilj will be modeled on the original one in the old town in Sarajevo.
‘’Sebilj is our gift to St. Louis, a city we thank for accepting us more than 20 years ago as refugees’’, said on the Facebook site where photographs of the future Sebilj were published.
The foundation stone was set on 29 September 2013, and the ‘American Sebilj’ is already taking on its contours.
