Despite all difficulties and bad weather conditions, BH alpinists and members of the DP “Zeljeznicar”, Haris Kalajdzisalihovic and Mirza Masnic, managed to “conquer” the Piz Badile in Switzerland, which is placed at the altitude of 3,308 meters above the sea level. They reached the peak from the most difficult, 800-meter tall, northern rock.

“We passed the first few lengths quickly, without some difficulties, but the middle lengths were completely wet, and it took us a lot of time to climb them, as well as orientation on the rock itself. We arrived on the top at 10 p.m.” stated Masnic.

They spent the night outdoors at 3,000 meters above sea level without any sleeping equipment. It was raining and they waited for the morning to warm up a bit and continue with their journey.

“We continued climbing on the North Ridge at 7 a.m., and we arrived at the very top around 10 a.m.,” said Masnic.

Kalajdzisalihovic and Masnic have been dealing with alpinism for 20 years and they recorded great results
