Acting on the order and under the supervision of the Prosecutor of the Prosecutor’s Office of Bosnia and Herzegovina, the police officers of the BiH BP deprived an active employee of the BiH Border Police of liberty.

The suspect is under investigation by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office in the case of organized crime and is suspected of corrupt activities and abuse of police duties and available information. According to the evidence gathered, the mentioned suspect was in contact with members of the organized criminal group that is being investigated by the BiH Prosecutor’s Office in the case Rašević et al. (operation codenamed “Dove”), for organized crime, trafficking of large quantities of narcotic drugs and other criminal offences.

Evidence was collected that the suspected member of the Border Police of Bosnia and Herzegovina, in order to obtain illegal property gain, gave information to the suspects, and gave instructions and helped them in illegally crossing the border of Bosnia and Herzegovina, which enabled trafficking of large quantities of narcotic drugs.
