BiH Citizens evacuated from Syria to Turkey

Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina, who were in Aleppo, a crisis area in Syria, were successfully and safely evacuated to the Republic of Turkey today, the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Turkey announced.

Diplomatic officers of the Embassy of Bosnia and Herzegovina in Ankara participated in the evacuation, with the support and instructions of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, and with the assistance of the competent Turkish authorities.

The citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are feeling well and will be flown to Istanbul, where they will receive the necessary documentation to continue their journey to Bosnia and Herzegovina.
