BiH FM met with the Ambassador of Oman to BiH

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Elmedin Konaković, today received the newly appointed ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman for Bosnia and Herzegovina, based in Rome, Sayyid Nazar Al Juland Majid Al-Said, for an inaugural visit.

Minister Konaković welcomed the ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman, emphasizing the very good and friendly relations between the two countries, and stated that there is still plenty of room for improving bilateral cooperation with an emphasis on economic cooperation.

The interlocutors agreed that it is necessary to make additional efforts in the area of regulating relations between BiH and the Sultanate of Oman through agreements on trade, cultural, scientific and technical cooperation, as well as on the visa regime, which is of great importance for both countries.

Ambassador of the Sultanate of Oman Sayyid Nazar Al-Said wished Bosnia and Herzegovina success in the coming period and progress on its path towards the European Union, confirming Oman’s desire to improve bilateral and multilateral relations between the two countries, the Public Relations Office of the BiH Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced.
