BiH Foreign Minister met in Jordan with His Majesty King Abdullah II

The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina Elmedin Konaković, during his official visit to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, met on January 14, 2026 with His Majesty King Abdullah II.

During the courtesy reception with His Majesty King Abdullah II, they discussed the strengthening of friendly relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Jordan, as well as joint efforts to preserve peace and stable conditions in the region. On that occasion, Minister Konaković expressed his gratitude to Jordan for its support to Bosnia and Herzegovina so far, stressing the importance of continuing such cooperation.

The need for further strengthening of bilateral economic, investment and tourism ties was highlighted and other areas, which would further strengthen the relations between the two friendly countries. The interlocutors exchanged opinions on the situation in the Middle East, especially on Palestinian-Israeli relations.

His Majesty King Abdullah II emphasized Jordan’s commitment to preserving peace and supporting Bosnia and Herzegovina, and emphasized the importance of continuing to strengthen friendly and partnership relations between the two countries.
