An orange warning will be in effect for Bosnia and Herzegovina tomorrow due to the expected heavy rainfall and wind.

Heavy precipitation is expected in the area of Herzegovina and in the southwestern regions, while the southerly wind will blow across the country.

An orange warning for wind will be in effect from midnight until Sunday morning, and for precipitation from 3pm tomorrow until Sunday evening.

The forecast amount of precipitation ranges from 40 to 80 liters per square meter, and locally it may fall even more, while southerly wind gusts of 50 to 70 kilometers per hour are expected, on mountains and plateaus up to 90 kilometers per hour.

According to the recommendations of the World Meteorological Organization, the population should be ready to protect themselves and their property.

Flooding of property and roads is possible, as well as disruption in the supply of electricity, water and communications.
