BiH Police conducts Simultaneous Searches at Nineteen Locations

Early this morning, the police teams of the Police Administration of the Ministry of the Interior of the Zenica-Doboj Canton started simultaneous searches at nineteen locations in Kakanj and two locations in the area of ​​Ilijas and Bihac.

This is a comprehensive police operation codenamed “NETWORK IV”, conducted by the Police Directorate of the Ministry of Interior of Zenica-Doboj Canton and aimed at detecting and prosecuting persons suspected of committing criminal offenses of unauthorized production and distribution of narcotics, illicit possession of weapons or explosives and trafficking in human beings.

Activities within the action “NETWORK IV” are undertaken in cooperation and under the supervision of the Cantonal Prosecutor’s Office of Zenica-Doboj Canton, and act on the orders of the Cantonal Court in Zenica, the Municipal Court in Zenica and the Municipal Court in Bihac.

This action is a continuation of the operational actions “NETWORK I”, “NETWORK II” and “NETWORK III” which were carried out in 2016, 2017 and 2019, and within which numerous of searches were carried out, a large number of suspects were deprived of liberty and significant quantities of narcotics, illegal weapons, money and other items originating from criminal offenses committed by persons who were the target of operative actions were found and confiscated, the Department of Public Relations, Analytics and Planning of the ZDC Ministry of the Interior stated.
