The official announcement of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Tuzla Canton on the details of the shooting at the ‘Lukavac Grad’ elementary school in Lukavac has also arrived.
Immediately after receiving the report, when the police officers of the Police Administration Lukavac went to the scene of the incident, they found a child who is suspected of having fired a firearm, and discarded firearms and other objects were found.
“The child (under 14 years old) is under police supervision in the premises of the Lukavac Police Department, while firearms and other discarded items are secured until the investigation begins.”

“The security of the scene is carried out by the police officers of the PU/PS Lukavac, and the investigation will be carried out under the supervision of the on-duty Prosecutor of the KTTK, who is on site, by the investigators of the Criminal Police Sector of the Police Administration of the MUP TK and the OKP of the PU Tuzla. There is also a Juvenile Prosecutor on site. In accordance with the provisions of the Law on the Protection of Children and Minors in Criminal Proceedings, we are unable to provide more information.
After the operational meeting of the leadership of the Prosecutor’s Office and the Police Directorate of the MUP of the TK, the directions of joint action in dealing with children were determined in accordance with the Law on the Protection and Treatment of Children and Juveniles in Criminal Proceedings of the FBiH and the Law on the Protection of Persons with Mental Disorders of the FBiH.
