BiH Presidency Members hosted Rapporteur for BiH, Christian Dan Preda

dan predaBiH Presidency members hosted the member of the European Parliament and rapporteur for BiH, Cristian Dan Preda.

As a part of a regular visit, the European Parliament rapporteur for BiH presented the report on BiH on which the Committee on External Affairs of the European Parliament passes a resolution on BiH. He added that 288 amendments were made on the resolution, which will later be considered and be approved by the Parliament.

Moreover, he spoke about the report and the general progress of BiH on its European path. They welcomed the progress in implementation of reforms and BiH’s determination to continue with the institutional and socio-economic reforms, fight against corruption and organized crime, reform of the judiciary and state administration.

The members of BiH Presidency informed Mr. Dan Preda about the readiness of BiH institutions, at all levels, to respond to the tasks related to completing the form and purpose of acquiring the candidate status for EU membership by the end of 2017.

Moreover, they expressed gratitude to the EU institutions on the overall and continuous support to BiH on its European path.

In the name of the Croatian member of the Presidency of BiH, Dragan Covic, advisor Dejan Vanjek, attended the meeting.
