BiH records Significant Increase in Export of Ammunition

Having adopted the report of the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry on last year’s operations of special purpose industry companies registered in the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina (FBiH), the Government of the FBiH tasked the supervisory boards and management of Zrak d.d. Sarajevo, Binas d.d. Bugojno i Pretis d.d. Vogosca to, as soon as possible, organize the holding of assemblies of these companies in accordance with the Law on Business Companies, at which reports on operations for the year 2021 will be considered.

The Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry is responsible for continuing to monitor and analyze the situation in the dedicated industry, and to propose measures and activities to the Government of the FBiH for the implementation of plans for 2022 and the achievement of goals in accordance with the Strategy for the Development of the Dedicated Industry and the Action Plan in the FBiH for the period from 2012 to 2022.

In the information, it was stated that last year this industry achieved a total income of 358,306,798 BAM, which is 38 more than the year before. The revenue generated from exports amounted to 280,802,785 BAM, which is an increase of 51 percent compared to 2020. Last year, special purpose industry companies in the FBiH made a profit of 25,225,684 BAM, which is 46 percent more than the previous year.

In these companies, on December 31st, 2021 there were 3,770 employees, which is an increase of 0.02 percent.

At yesterday‘s session, the FBiH Government accepted information from the Federal Ministry of Energy, Mining and Industry on the approval of funds to overcome the current situation in the company Zrak d.d. Sarajevo. This ministry is in charge of preparing a decision for the next session of the FBiH Government on the allocation of 110,000 BAM for the payment of salaries to Zrak employees, according to the available funds in the account of the Special Fund of the Development Bank of FBiH, Biznis Info writes.
