cameraAs part of activities within the celebration of the 70th anniversary of BH Automobile Club (BIHAMK) today will be put into operation “Video surveillance of specific micro-locations of roads in BiH”.

With the implementation of the project of video surveillance in the information system of BIHAMK was achieved remarkable qualitative shift in informing the public about the condition of the roads, as said in the statement.

With the project is envisaged that the Information Centre BIHAMK in the following period will pay special attention to monitoring of traffic on the busiest roads, motorways, mountain passes, urban areas and border crossings.

he suTrveillance system includes 17 cameras at the following locations: intersection Brijesce, Stup crossroad, Skenderija and Siporex, mountain ranges and Makljen and Karaula, border crossings Izacic, Bosanska Gradiska (two cameras), Bijaca, Kamensko, Crveni Grm, Prisika, Doljani, Orasje, Sepak and Bosanski Brod.

The additional six cameras (mountain pass Ivan, border crossing Bosanski Brod and Ivanic, collection of payment on the motorway A-1 Josanica, crossroads Otoka and Orahov brijeg) which were set as well, will be included in the system after the necessary technical preparations within the next ten days.

With webcams included in information system of BIHAMK, we obtained a new, modern system of information and the possibility for the drivers to get the current and useful information on the frequency of traffic at border crossings and delays at selected locations and the ability to better plan their trips and avoid prolonged waiting and possible delays. This system is available through the website of BIHAMK.

The number of cameras included in this information system will constantly increase, and in the next phase of upgrading is envisaged setting up of additional ten cameras.
