On the Statehood Day of Bosnia and Herzegovina (BiH), November 25th, the Olympic Center Bjelasnica – Igman opens its doors to all visitors and lovers of winter sports with a free day of skiing.

While other mountains are still waiting for the forecast, Bjelasnica is already preparing the first tracks in the snow, and that in the most beautiful possible way: by celebrating the country through shared joy, sport, and nature.

From Olympic Center Bjelasnica-Igman, they point out that this is an opportunity to symbolically mark an important date for our country, but also to welcome the season in the spirit of togetherness, pride, and positive energy.

“Our guests will mark November 25th, when BiH breathes with full lungs, on our mountain. We are giving a day of skiing to all our fellow citizens who want to celebrate the Statehood Day of BiH together with us,” they say from the Olympic Center Bjelasnica-Igman.

They add that the hardworking team of the Ski Center has been working for days on preparation, testing, marking, and securing the slopes, so that the first skiers can have a safe and high-quality experience on the snow and a true beginning of winter.

After that, from November 26th to 28th, the final preparations of the surface and works on the slopes will be carried out, with a focus on further strengthening the snow base, and the official opening of the ski season is planned for Saturday, November 29th, 2025, if weather conditions allow it.

From the center, they emphasize that the final decision is made exclusively according to the highest safety and quality standards, because the goal is a season that will last, not just begin.

The Olympic Center Bjelasnica-Igman calls on all snow lovers to share the joy on November 25th, precisely on the mountain, where both the country and winter are celebrated.

“Therefore, prepare your skis, hats, smiles, and good mood – because the ski season begins! Bjelasnica is waiting for you. First. Proud,” they say from Olympic Center Bjelasnica.
