The number of victims in Gaza in the past few hours has risen to 89 after one of the most brutal Israeli attacks in recent months.

The Gaza Ministry of Health announced that at least 89 Palestinians were killed in Israeli attacks across Gaza, and more than 70 people died while waiting for aid in southern Khan Younis.

“Bodies were scattered across the streets. People were attacked while waiting for aid and flour… People are hungry and desperate, they only wanted food,” said survivor Awad Barbakh.

Witness Saeed Abu Lebda said that civilians were “blown to pieces, body parts were scattered everywhere.”

“The number of victims is much higher than the number of those who were brought to the hospital. But no one could help them,” he said.
