The Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina approved 500 thousand BAM from the current budget reserve in order to provide international assistance to the Government of the Republic of Croatia in repairing the consequences of the earthquake, which occurred at the end of December 2020.

At the extraordinary telephone session of the Council of Ministers of BiH, it also passed the Decision on approving 100 thousand BAM from the current reserve of the budget of the institutions of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the international obligations of Bosnia and Herzegovina for the purpose of providing assistance to Kostajnica.

The funds are intended to repair the consequences of the earthquake that caused huge material damage at the end of December last year in Kostajnica, a municipality in Bosnia and Herzegovina on the border with the Republic of Croatia.

On December 29, 2020, Croatia was hit by a devastating earthquake with catastrophic consequences, human casualties and injuries, as well as destroyed and severely damaged property in Sisak-Moslavina County.
