Bosnia and Herzegovina officially established Diplomatic Relations with Tanzania

The Permanent Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina to the United Nations in New York, Ambassador Ivica Dronjic and his counterpart Permanent Representative of the United Republic of Tanzania to UN Ambassador Modest Jonathan Mero have formalized the establishment of diplomatic relations between Bosnia and Herzegovina and the United Republic of Tanzania.

Thus, Tanzania became the 174th country with which BiH has established diplomatic relations. The signing ceremony took place at the premises of the Permanent Mission of BiH to the UN.

The Republic of Tanzania is a country on the east coast of Africa in the Great Lakes region, with a population of 55 million inhabitants on an area of nearly a million square kilometers (947,303 km²). Most of the population are Christians (61%) and Muslims (35%). The capital is Dar es Salaam, Akta.ba news portal reports.
