The tourist destinations of Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented to an audience of almost 40,000 visitors at the World Travel Market (WTM) in London, one of the world’s most influential events in the field of tourism.

“The rich culture, natural beauty and hospitality of Bosnia and Herzegovina were presented at the fair, and the door was opened for numerous business opportunities and partnerships and improved visibility of the country on the world market,” announced the Tourist Board of Sarajevo Canton.

The Sarajevo Canton Tourist Board, the Herzegovina Tourist Cluster and Fortuna Tours Mostar were the organizers of the Bosnia and Herzegovina stand, which spread over more than 100 m2. The tourist boards of the Central Bosnia and Tuzla Cantons, as well as numerous hotels and agencies, presented the offer at the stand.

“Joint participation in the fair is a key step towards strengthening the unique brand of BiH on the global tourism scene,” the statement added.

WTM London is one of the key events in the global travel industry calendar, bringing together 3,500 exhibitors from more than 180 countries to exchange ideas, close deals and learn about the latest trends and innovations in tourism. Participation in that event provides an opportunity to promote destinations, products and services, as well as to build a network of contacts, learn from international leaders of the tourism sector and achieve strategic partnerships.
