” Bosnia and Herzegovina will not remain behind the ‘iron curtain’ ”

The High Representative of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Valentin Inzko said that the doors of the European Union are widely open for Bosnia and Herzegovina. He also added that Bosnia and Herzegovina will not remain behind the ”iron curtain” after Croatia’s admission to the EU.

”The European Union has stated clearly that countries of the Western Balkans, including Bosnia and Herzegovina, can count on the European perspective. The ‘doors’ of the European Union are wide open for Bosnia and Herzegovina, but it is up to its state institutions to fulfill all the obligations for it. In that manner, the fact that Croatia will join the European Union in a few months can be a good motivation for Bosnia and Herzegovina to accelerate the same process of membership”- said Inzko in an interview for the ”Fena” Agency.

Inzko also stated that Croatia’s admission to the European Union will most certainly bring Bosnia and Herzegovina closer to the European Union.
