The Bosniak Institute: Ensemble Art Vivo to Perform

bosniak instituteOn Monday, in the framework of the Baščaršijske Noći and in the oremises of the Bosniak Institute, the Mixed Vocal Ensemble “Art Vivo” will perform.

In 2011, the ensemble “Art Vivo” was founded in Sarajevo. The ensemble consists of thirteen academically trained musicians, led by Daniel Žontar, composer and head of the National Theater Opera Chorus Sarajevo. It was established with the aim of promoting stylized traditional music.

The ensemble has a repertoire of classical music. In addition, the repertoire that is rarely heard will be performed as well. For instance: (film music, popular songs, evergreensetc.). The program will consists of: S. S. Mokranjac, G.Sviridov, P.I. Čajkovski, Verdi, A. Lloyd Vebber, K.Monteno and Dino Merlin.
